Terms of Service

Written against Swedish consumer law but not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Have it checked before launch.

Who we are

SupportBridge is operated by a Swedish sole trader (enskild firma). Our registered name, organisation number, VAT number, address, email and telephone number are shown in full at the foot of every page, as required by the Swedish E-Commerce Act and the Distance Contracts Act. We are approved for F-skatt.

What we provide

IT support for consumers: remote support anywhere in Sweden, and on-site visits in the Stockholm area. Business customers are served under a separate written agreement.

Prices and VAT

All prices shown to consumers include 25% Swedish VAT. Fixed-price services are charged as listed. Hourly work is charged per started hour. You are told the price for your specific job before any work begins, and we tell you before continuing if a job turns out to be larger than expected.

Payment

Payment falls due after the work has been carried out, by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. Payment terms are stated on each invoice. We do not ask for payment before a booking.

Your right to withdraw (ångerrätt)

Because you buy at a distance, you have 14 days from the day the agreement is made to withdraw, under the Distance Contracts Act (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). To use it, tell us within those 14 days — an email is enough. You may use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard withdrawal form, but you do not have to.

If you ask us to start within those 14 days

Support is often wanted sooner than 14 days. If you expressly ask us to begin during the withdrawal period, and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed, then: you lose the right once the work is complete; and if you withdraw part-way, you pay a proportionate amount for the work already done. We ask for that consent explicitly when you book, and we record it.

If something is wrong (reklamation)

If our work is faulty, tell us as soon as you reasonably can. We will put it right where we can. Your rights under Swedish consumer law are not limited by these terms.

If we cannot agree

Contact us first — most things are settled quickly. If we still disagree, you can refer the matter free of charge to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. We follow ARN's recommendations. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Limits of what we can promise

We will always tell you honestly when a problem cannot be solved — for example when hardware has failed. We are not liable for loss of data; we recommend a working backup before any repair, and we will help you make one.

Governing law

Swedish law applies to these terms.
